Ọmọ Yorùbá Kids is designed for children ages 5–16, with three difficulty levels that adapt to each age group: Ọmọdé (ages 5–7) with larger touch targets and gentle encouragement, Ọdọ́mọdé (ages 8–12) with full features and balanced challenge, and Ọ̀dọ́ (ages 13–16) with advanced content and deeper cultural context.
Yes! All audio in Ọmọ Yorùbá Kids is recorded by native Yoruba speakers with proper tonal pronunciation. We work with Yoruba language experts to ensure complete accuracy. Your children will learn to speak like a true Yoruba.
Every child learns at their own pace, but many parents see children using greetings and basic words within the first week. With regular practice of 15–20 minutes daily, children typically build strong foundations within 2–3 months.
No! Ọmọ Yorùbá Kids is designed for parents at any level, including those who don't speak Yoruba. Children learn through the app's audio and interactive activities. You can learn alongside them!
Absolutely. We're COPPA compliant with strict privacy protections. There are no ads, no external links without a parental gate, and no data collection from children without consent. Your child's safety is our top priority.
Open the app and tap “Create Account” on the sign-up screen. Enter your name, email, and a password (or continue with Apple or Google). We'll send a verification link to your email — once you tap it, you'll be guided through our COPPA privacy notice, give parental consent, set a 4-digit PIN for the parent dashboard, and add a profile for each child (name, avatar, skin tone, and age group: 5–7, 8–12, or 13–16). After that you're ready to start learning.
Yes! Premium plans support up to 3 child profiles, each with individual progress tracking and age-appropriate settings. The Family plan includes advanced parent dashboard features to monitor all children.
Open the parent dashboard (enter your 4-digit PIN), go to Settings, scroll to Account Actions, and tap “Delete Account.” You'll be asked to confirm twice. Deletion is immediate and permanent — it removes your parent profile, all child profiles, learning progress, purchase history, and subscription data, and it cannot be undone. If you'd like to keep a record of your child's progress, export your progress reports from the dashboard before deleting.
Yes, Ọmọ Yorùbá Kids is available on both iOS (App Store) for iPhone and iPad, and Android (Google Play) for phones and tablets.
